If each of us would only sweep our own doorstep, the whole world would be clean. To Sweep = using a broom, not a gas blower.

GARBAGE is one of the most critical problems facing society today. It is rarely talked about but it is a problem that eventually will reach our door, if we do not work on it today.

Farm Feliz helps events manage their trash so as to mimimize the amount that ends up in the landfill. We have a set of easels ( two for blue, two for green compost and two for regular black), the garbage cans and the signs that any event is welcome to borrow. We can show you where you can dispose of compostables etc. And yes, no charge of course. We would just like to see garbage reduced.
Call Tomas O'Grady at 323 644 1629. The pictures shows the Recent Franklin Elementary Halloween event. All the trash items here were taken to a sun valley composter.

Farmer Annemarie Ralph, a teacher at King Middle School, runs the 30 can recycling program at King, with the help of her students.
